I have used Black sand over the substrate to stabilise the soil and for its lovely decorative look.
Soil composition and Care
The substrate used is a mix of Succulent Potting Mix, indoor potting mix, worm castings, activated charcoal and peat moss.
Caring for succulent bowls is easy! Spray around the roots of the plants. Fertilise twice a year. Pick off dead or dry growth as the plants get bigger
